    The Peterborough Family Health Team (PFHT) is now offering same-day or next-day appointments for Peterborough County residents, including those in North Kawartha, who are without a family doctor or nurse practitioner. Whether you're dealing with a rash, earache, UTI, or another minor health concern, the PFHT health clinic is here to help.

    Township of North Kawartha Property Taxation Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) scheduled for October 15, 2024, was not processed due to technical issues. The payment will be deducted from accounts as soon as possible.

    The Short Term Rental Advisory Committee Meeting  scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. has been cancelled. The next Short Term Rental Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

    The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has released a scam alert to bring awareness to Canadians about misinformation circulating online regarding extra payments to low-income seniors. There are websites with false information about benefits and some contain links to join online instant messaging groups. 

  • Bellai Alliance Civil Notice: Reconstruction at Highway 28 and the Eels Creek Rest Area

    Please be advised that Bellai Alliance Civil Inc. will be conducting reconstruction works along the Highway 28 Right-of-Way at the Eels Creek Bridge located at the Eels Creek Rest Area (approx. 13.3km North of Burleigh Falls). Work is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2024, and conclude in August 2025.

  • 2024 Building Permit Annual Fee Notice

    Throughout the months of June, July, and August of 2024, the Township of North Kawartha Building Department will be mailing letters to property owners who have outstanding building permits that are 2 years old or older.

    The Government of Ontario, in partnership with the Township of North Kawartha, is introducing a new ServiceOntario mobile service centre. The new mobile service centre will provide in-person access to government services within The Township of North Kawartha.
