Electronics

Electronics contain many hazardous and reusable materials that can be recycled, and do not belong in the Garbage. Recycling of electronics is also known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Please note: larger appliances such as fridges, freezers, water coolers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, ovens, etc. (sometimes known as white goods) are not classified as waste electronics. In addition, some smaller electronic devices such as toasters, toaster ovens, microwaves, etc. will be classified as scrap metal. Even though an item has a cord, it isn't doesn't necessarily mean it will be classified as Waste Electronics.
