We provide programs and services that support seniors (60+) and adults with physical challenges (18+) empowering them to live at home. 

Some programs include: Frozen Meals on Wheels, Volunteer Transportation, Grocery Shopping/Delivery, Exercise and Falls Prevention Classes, Blood Pressure Clinics.

We accept in-season donations of gently used clothing, accessories, games, books, and small household items. All money raised through our store is used to support our programs and services within Apsley. The last week of every month we host a 50% off sale.

The North Kawartha Food Bank is a registered charity, that has been serving the community since 2001. It has 16 volunteers, 8 of whom are board members.

It provides fresh, frozen, canned, and dry goods, as well as hygiene and household cleaning products to persons in need, residing in North Kawartha. Clients are able to access the Food Bank once a week, and it currently serves approximately 50 households.

The Food Bank is is funded by the generosity of the residents, cottagers, and visitors to the area. It is currently operating on a budget of $3000.00 per month, just for the food and hygiene products, which are procured by the volunteers. In support, The Township Of North Kawartha provides space for the operation of the Food Bank, at no cost.
