2023/24 Season
The North Kawartha Figure Skating Club prides itself on providing programs for the entire community. Come and learn to skate with us, where our skaters love the action, music, and fun. Then in March they get to display the results of all their hard work and dedication in a spectacular ice show. With many skill levels, we are able to assess your child's skating abilities and place them in the appropriate group.
Figure skating lessons at the NKCC begin Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and end with the North Kawartha Figure Skating Club Annual Show on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Volunteers are a must for all programs, so please consider volunteering.
Learn to Skate
Learn to Skate coaches work with young skaters to develop balance and the basics of skating. Skaters work on forward and backwards skating.
With very young skaters one parent may assist with the child on ice, but the parent is required to wear skates and a mask, and a helmet is highly recommended.
Intermediate
Intermediate coaches work with skaters who have graduated our Learn to Skate program. Skaters start working on basic spins and jumps.
Senior
Senior coaches work with skaters who have graduated our Intermediate program. Skaters continue working on higher level jumps and spins.
